General Rules:
• All teams playing in the early draw are expected to arrive by 5:45pm to help with ice prep.
• All teams playing the late draw are responsible for putting their stones away.
• A team must have at least 2 roster members show up to avoid a forfeit.
• If a player comes late, they must wait until the start of the next end to enter the game.
• For teams of 3, the first two members throw 3 stones each and the Skip throws 2 stones.
• All teams are responsible for ensuring their scores are recorded correctly. There will be a sheet to transpose your end-by-end scores after the games.
• Free Guard Zone rule is in effect. The first 2 stones from each team cannot be taken out until the 5th stone unless they are in the house.
• If a game ends in a tie, the teams will play a shortened 4-stone end, with each member throwing one stone each. If the game is still tied after this, then the skips will each throw one stone and the closest to the button wins.
• If a rock is touched by the broom or a player, it is burned. The player must announce it, and let the rock continue on it’s course. The opposing skip will decide to keep it in play, or remove it and reset the rocks.
• All teams are responsible for ensuring their scores are recorded correctly. There will be a sheet to transpose your end-by-end scores after the games.
